Good WIFI while we have stayed in Japan

I used Japan Wireless Pocket WiFi during my trip to Japan, and it worked flawlessly in all three cities I visited—Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka. The coverage was excellent everywhere, even in the Metro, which was a pleasant surprise. I stayed connected at all times, whether in busy city centers or quieter areas. The cost was also reasonable, making it a fantastic option for travelers. I highly recommend this service for its reliability, great coverage, and affordability!

Very good signal during all my travel good battery life too

After considering an e-SIM and a portable wifi we decided to rent a portable wifi on the Business package with insurance for our 12 day trip. We collected it from Haneda airport without any issues. Once we presented our QR code and passport we were handed the envelope with the wifi and instructions as well as a return envelope.

The wifi unit is quite small and light (smaller than the palm of my hand) and it came in a portable zip bag with a charging plug, cable and an additional power bank (also small). The bag was very thin and portable and I always carried it in my backpack without any issues. It was very easy to use and we didn´t have any connectivity issues, even on top of Mount Shigi outside Nara. On one single occasion the unit restarted itsef but it was a one off and we had no other problems or issues. The battery lasted the whole day, on average, but one day we had to plug it to the power bank so it was very handy to have it for emergencies. We had a very pleasant experience using Japan Wireless portable wifi and would really recommend it. We will definitely rent it again when we come back to Japan.

First of all no problems at all, sometimes even better internet connection than in homeland. Was surprised.
At second very comfortable way to get and send back.
What’s uncomfortable:
1. have to remember to charge it. but on the other hand u get power bank in order to
2. Have to don’t forget to put it in the bag or pocket)) the main problem of this device
3. It’s small but anyway you need place for it in your bag
But despite all of this probably it was the best solution I have ever had in my travels
