Best thing to have done in Japan is getting a pocket wifi! Definitely recommend.

Online rental was easy to do. The package was delivered to my hotel before I checked in. It contained WiFi device, cord, dual USB plug and portable battery. I didn’t need the battery because the WiFi lasted all day. Return was easy at the airport. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful device and great wifi connection everywhere!

This is the 2nd time we have rented from Japan Wireless and it allowed for a few of us to minimize our data usage on our eSIM or international plans. Works all over Tokyo and we even used it on the Ito peninsula and Kyoto area without any problems. Highly recommend.

Very useful. Also something I need to have because I think its more reliable than an E-sim. Only downside is the shape of the device. Still very portable but the square shape compared to the one I had in the previous year was thinn and more rectangular making it more ideal for clothes with pockets

The product arrived at our hotel ahead of time, which was fantastic. Unfortunately it wasn't charged, so we lost a bit of time charging things up. The device worked as desired, and handled the load from several devices reasonably well, though battery life wasn't necessarily great, even with the provided power bank. Would use again, price point was pretty good.
