I would recommend Japan Wireless mobile wi-fi instead of a SIM card if you are traveling with a spouse. Both parties can use it, and it worked great for us a very economical cost.

Great service from beginning to end.

We picked up our package at Sapporo airport and travelled around Hokkaido with it for 11 days and it kept us connected the entire time.

We then travelled to Tokyo with it and again experienced even better connectivity as we weren’t in the middle of nowhere in back roads like in Hokkaido.

Great battery life as another reviewer has said.

An absolute must when in Japan.

Great

Perfectly seamless process. Spent 1 week in Tokyo and not one loss of signal. Picked up at Narita Airport kiosk and posted when I left. Perfect!

I had it in my pocket and had, almost, at all times wifi and connection to the internet, skype and so on. It worked super.

Easy to pick up and return, battery lasted long.

great connectivity and easy to pick and drop

We used Japan Wireless for a week and found the service flawless - device arrived at our hotel for collection, no battery issues and worked without any problems.

This pocket wireless device worked very reliably and really well for the duration of my trip. It lasted for about 8 hours with heavy usage. It was extremely useful that it came with a battery to charge it while on the move. I would definitely rent from this company and use this device again. No issues.

We ordered the Japan Wireless pocket WiFi for our trip and it was excellent! Fast connection, never dropped out, super reliable. Unlimited data. No need to look for free WiFi spots while travelling. The pocket WiFi included a portable charger. Easy pick up at Narita Airport T2 (we picked up at the QL counter) and easy drop off in the red postbox at Narita before our departure. Highly recommend. Would definitely use this service again.
