Is a must to have wifi in Japan and this little gadget works perfectly well at all times

It worked perfectly. Will use again in future trips to Japan.

We used the pocket wi fi on a trip around Japan in November. The wi fi was delivered to our hotel ahead of time and we posted back from our last hotel. Continuous coverage, good charging time and fantastic for using google maps etc whilst travelling. Really good value and service.

Extremely handy! Definitely beats having to look around for free wifi to look for the current train timetables and location of destinations. I would highly recommend renting pocket wifi when travelling to Japan
