It was waiting for me at Narita PO. Just turned it on and it worked flawlessly straight away. Travelling in a group of 4, each with one or two devices connected to it. The pocket wifi handled them all without a problem. Went up into the mountains near Hanamaki south of Morioka and still had good coverage. The coverage can get a little slow and sketchy on a fast moving Shinkansen, probably because it’s switching base stations too often and too quickly. The pocket wifi can also become warm or hot under heavy use. The supplied accessories are great - nice satchel, power adapter with 2 USB outlets, and a USB single lead with 2 different end plugs. Will be back in Japan in a few months and will rent one again.

The service was excellent, devices arrived to our hotel in advance. Included instructions were very clear, as was the communication. The device itself worked very well and was an essential item for our trip.

I was connected with two devices (iphones) at all times with a family member. We both had no problem with connection issues. The pocket Wifi lasted most of the day (roughly 10 hours) without needing to be charged. We were able to use maps, connect on social media, and stream videos with ease.
