I rented this unit from Haneda Airport. I had no issues with it during my trip; the speed was fast and the battery lasted all day without need the external battery charger.

The 30 day SIM from Japan Wireless arrived at our hotel easily (we placed the order online when we arrived in Japan). The price was very competitive and the service seemed to work well.

Good coverage around Kyushu. Battery back up power needed. Mailbox return not convenient at Fukuoka International Airport.

Service was great and easy usage

As a first time Japan visitor I would have been completely lost without pocket WIFI. Honestly, it is the best thing you can do for making your Japan experience great. It is easy to use and gives you the security you need when you travel in a country where you do not speak the language nor can read the signs. With this little helper you can always check online for instructions, translations and what ever you need. The pick-up and drop-off was very smooth and well organized. I highly recommend it.
