If you travel from the US to NRT Terminal 1, make sure you choose to pick up your package at the JTB Counter (next to Tourist Information Center). It's right outside of the customs exit. We made the mistake choosing the other counter and it was a bit of walking.
We choose the Premium Wifi package and it worked great throughout Japan from North to South for 2 weeks. The unit's battery would last about 10 hrs so remember to charge it every night. We'll definitely choose Japan Wireless again when we'll be coming back to the beautiful Japan next year. Very reliable service.

Good stuff. Reliable service and fast

Worked well, would use again if I came back to Japan

Service was wonderful, had an issue with a device with the first week and it was replaced within a few days, the new device worked perfectly

good signal and easy to use

Consistent wireless service, easy pick up and drop off and well priced

IF you are looking for something reliable and wil work out of the box, definitely reccomend the wifi box. I would suggest bring your own power Bank the one included died with in minutes so we never really used it. The pocket wifi lasted us about 5-8 hours so had to charge it during our outings but that was no issue.
I used this on top of my esim for emergencies and I'm glad I did!

Had 4 devices on this WiFi and never struggled with capacity or battery. We were often out for 12/13 hours a day and it lasted just about without needing the battery pack. But nice to have that there as a back up. A couple of occasions where the signal dropped out for a few minutes but it reconnected itself. Really easy for everyone to get connected and had done so within a few minutes of collecting the WiFi at the station. Glad we got it.

Excellent device which was delivered at out hotel and posted at the airport when we left Japan.

super service, delivery at the hotel, perfect
