Have used the wifi many times. From Tokyo to mountains of Shikoku. Never any issues. You can choose pickup or delivery.

I ordered two WiFi for our Diamond Princess Cruise that went around Japan. They worked great at every port and even worked on the ship as long as you have site of land.

We rented it for 21 days and it worked perfectly. We had good network all the time with the exception of 1 day for about 2 hours. The battery lasted normally the whole day. A couple of times we had to use the power bank we added to our rental. The instructions on how to mail it back were clear. We found the postbox at Haneda airport easily. And the price for it with the full insurance was very affordable. 100% would recommend this service.
