Reliable and easy to use. I would rent this WiFi again the next time I’m in Japan

Satisfied with the service

Wifi lasted all day!

I reserved the pocket wifi ahead of time. It was easy to pick it up at the airport and drop off in the mailbox. The pocket wifi worked well almost everywhere we went. We did have trouble getting a signal at the mountain top of Hakone. Overall, we were satisfied with the service.

Pick up was easy in Haneda Airport once we found the counter. Drop off at the red post box in the airport was also super easy. Using the wifi during the trip was great - we almost always had a strong signal, we could connect multiple devices, and it came with a battery pack in case we needed to recharge it while we were out.

I was skeptical about trying an eSim card since I'd never used one in the past but it was actually very easy. The only thing I did not like it that instead of giving me a new phone number through my eSim, it was using my apple account email to text people and they had no idea who was texting them. In terms of efficiency, though, my cellular connection was great the entire two weeks I was there, even in the subways.

For the whole time while staying in Japan, I was very satisfied with the Device and quality of the connections, no problems occured, the capacity of the battery was always enough for a whole day, I just can recommend JapanWireless!

Having wifi wherever you go in Japan is a no-brainer. Ordering, pick-up, drop-off and setup was super easy. Can really recommend!

Great Wifi and worked everywhere except for some times while traveling on the Shinkansen. Very easy to pick up and return with very easy to follow instructions!

This was our first time to Japan. The unit was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived. We traveled up and down the main island of Japan, and had great coverage everywhere!
