Always have used pocket Wi-Fi in the past. Tried e-sim this time and so easy/convenient.

The eSIM was cost-effective, easy to install, and worked throughout Japan.

The eSIM was very easy to install. Can be configured to be the main data sim while data can be turned off on the other sim and still allow phone calls and text messages to come through. Only thing is that it’s difficult to track usage. I’m not sure if there’s a good way to do this so that a warning can be given when approaching the data limit.

Easy to access and good coverage

Anyone trying to travel to Japan, this is the best way. Did not need to go anywhere or deal with anyone. Or get a card

Very good network throughout Japan. I am very satisfied with this eSim.
