Japan Wireless mailed the pocket wifi to my hotel in advance. I also just need to drop the unit at a postal mailbox to return it. Service is very convenient and at a lower cost than picking up from an airport kiosk. The signal is good throughout our trip. The only slight problem is the mailbox at the departure area at Haneda Airport became full, almost exclusively for returning gadgets that it was difficult to squeeze my return envelope in.

Pocket wifi works great. Great speed and connection except when we're up in the mountains. We'll definitely go back again next time we go back to Japan.

A must have for your trip in Japan. Extremely easy to book online, 5 mins to pick it up at Haneda airport and you send it back in a pre-paid enveloppe on departure. The wifi service is seamless even with 4 people using it at the same time. Highly recommended
