Coverage was basically 95% everywhere, with the exception of a small mountain town of Niko. Used it for maps and research and it worked great. I highly recommend this company and if you're like me, on the move and constantly exploring, then I highly suggest adding the power pack for the extra battery.

Having a permanent internet connection with me gave me the freedom to explore Japan to my heart’s content, always knowing there was another train I could find, a nearby highlight, restaurant or shop, or a way home. Essential for our trip and I dare say most modern travelers too.

Easy to use and great coverage throughout Japan.

Everything was perfect!!

We used this every day in Japan! It was so helpful, especially when we had to use google maps (which was all the time). This is a must have if you’re traveling to Japan, especially if you’re using any e-ticketing.

Looking for a hassle free, easy to use process to access the network whilst in Japan? Japan Wireless offers an excellent service at a good price.

This was a life saver. Easy to use and fast. Loved that it came with a spare battery

Excellent! Good coverage.

Definitely something one needs when traveling. Only issue I had was receiving a power bank alongside with the pocket WiFi and it not putting out power. It was able to charge and show lights but not push out any power to both the pocket WiFi and other cellular devices I've had with me in Japan. Luckily I had my own power bank to supply it with power. Nonetheless I will be picking up another one when I head back to Japan.

This Is my second time renting from this company and i loved having it both times. It was easy to pick up and drop off at the airport, and compact enough to fit in my smallest bag. The fact that it came with an extra battery was great because if you're out all day, there is NO way the wifi will last on it's own, even after being charged fully. 9/10 would rent again
