This was my first time using a pocket wifi in Tokyo. I usually rented a cellphone that I could use to contact friends/family in Tokyo. I am glad I got the pocket wifi because it was much cheaper in the long run than renting the phone. Also, having wifi access wherever I went was convenient. The only issue I had was that there were a few times I had to re-set everything and enter the wifi name and password over and over again and that was a bit frustrating. However, the next time I return to Tokyo, I will rent the pocket wifi again.

The Japan Wireless team was great to deal with because their team was very responsive and quick with their support. They were the most reasonably priced and they had no hidden fees. Please make sure to remember to allow for about 5 days notice to make sure they are able to deliver the mobile access point on time.
