The pocket WiFi we used in japan worked very well and we used it to get around. The unlimited WiFi was great for its price. The only downside was the charger that came with it didn’t work, but we brought plenty of portable chargers to keep it going. Would recommend!

The pick up service at Narita Airport was very easy from the Post Office, easy to find once you arrive.

The internet service was extremely useful to have whilst travelling in Japan, no issues at all with connection considered we travelled to Hokkaido from Tokyo as well as to Nagoya.

The drop off was just as easy at the Narita airport.

In my view after 4 trips to Japan in the recent 5 years, you would definitely need high speed internet whilst travelling, it makes your life a lot more easier. I would highly recommend Japan Wireless to anyone looking at renting pocket wifi in Japan.

Simple process to book and pay for the SIM card. Was delivered to my hotel as promised. Apart from putting the SIM card in the phone, no further set up requires. Worked perfectly all around Japan.

Was a lifesaver during my trip! If you don't want to pay extra for an international data plan but you would like internet connection from anywhere in Japan, this would be what you want to get. I had little to no connection issues and it has a battery life that lasts throughout the day. In the case that it doesn't, it comes with a portable charger to charge it!

This SIM card worked fine. 30 days and 15gb was ideal for our holiday. We picked the SIM card up at Japan Post on arrival at KIX airport. We ordered 6 for our group. They all worked straight away.

Went with the cheap data only option (SIM card). Worked very well and much stronger signal than other products that I have used in Japan. More convenient than the mobile hotspot devices as no need for additional chargers and no need to remember to post everything back at end of trip. Will use again.

Had it posted to Narita T2 post office, collected easily, and used it in Tokyo, Toyama, Kyoto. Never needed to use the spare power-bank (eg we were generally mobile from 9am to 7pm). Google Maps for trains and buses and Google Translator most usefull. Easy to post back before leaving. Definitely would use again.
