We visited Japan in July 9-19,2024. I picked up my mobile Japan Wireless premium mobile WIFI router at Narita airport from the JTB counter. It was easy to pair with my mobile devices. Tye coverage was excellent. We visited Kyoto, Osaka and Mt. Fuji and never lost WIFI coverage. A “plus” is the power pack that came with the router. The router and the power pack were fully charged when I received them. I shall rent from Japan Wireless again and highly recommend the service. Thank you Japan Wireless

I always get a pocket wifi because I can use Google maps and other apps freely, when and where I want. Japan wireless provides the mallet and instructions for ready return of equipment. Can't go wrong with Japan Wireless.

Used 2 of these SIMs in Japan for 8 days. Data is fast enough and worked everywhere. The only gotcha is that it only activates in Japan, so you need to activate when you land. You can install it when you aren’t in Japan and enable it when you land.
