Pocket WiFi is not the cheapest option for internet, but if you phone is unlocked and you have WiFi calling enabled, pocket WiFi is amazing. We had solid speeds and continued connection throughout our two week trip. Japan Wireless provided us with exactly what we were hoping for.

Not easy to find the pick up place but got there in the end. Quick and easy to set up and lasted most of the day. Did drop out a few times and turn itself off but easy to get up and running again. Worked well for the two of us

Very reliable connection and good speed. Only thing is it runs out of battery after a day so you must remember to charge overnight/carry battery bank out with you which can be quite heavy!

We hired a Japan Wireless WIFI router whilst on our 55 day holiday in Japan and it worked absolutely perfectly. We collected it at the airport upon our arrival in Tokyo and then on our last day simply placed it in the supplied self addressed envelope and dropped it to in the closest post box. We had three to four devices connected at all times and the speed was excellent. The router comes in a small pouch containing the charger, lead and a power bank should you not be able to charge the router every day (a standard battery charge lasted us around 10 hours). I wish we had a similar WIFI option in some of the other countries we have visited as this experience was by far the best we have had to date, highly recommended !

it was convenient. no hassle. we're 4 user during the whole trip, I even not used the back up battery for the pocket wifi. it was enough for the long outside activity. will definitely avail again on next tour.

Great to use. Convenient delivery and airport mail drop off. Could use more backup battery charge. One battery provided was still not enough if out for the whole day sightseeing.
