Pocket wifi worked great. Just kept in the backpack while exploring and never had an issue. Awesome that it comes with a power bank for extra long days out and about.

We used the premium portable WiFi router incl. powerbank to navigate during our first self-organized trip. From pickup to return the whole service was very easy to understand and worked super reliable. We also travelled in the countryside and the service never failed on us. What also amazed us was the super easy drop off return via mailbox. We dropped it off right before our flight out of Haneda and the return receipt was confirmed to us when we hit ground at home. Thank you so much for this great quality service. Would always do it again - make sure to take the one with powerbank if you intend to navigate and research a lot.

I researched all possible options to keep in touch whilst on 2 weeks holiday in Japan and decided on this one. It was a great decision. Pick up and drop off was simple. The unit worked perfectly from start to finish and ensured that I was able to use my phone without a japanese SIM card to access the internet which was particularly useful for WhatsApp, Google Maps, Travel information and Google Translate. I cannot fault the product or service and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any traveller to Japan.
