Experience was good and practical. Only remark is that the autonomy of device was a bit short for my usage.

Mobile Wifi able to last whole day and has coverage to all areas we went through (Fukuoka, Osaka, Kyoto, Kanazawa, and Tokyo).

The service was easy to use and worked well for the 2.5 weeks we were visiting Japan. The battery never run out during the day but the package came with a external battery pack just in case which was good to have.

At Haneda the small kiosk where I should collect the device was a bit hard to find. but the staff at the nearby Enquiries desk told me where to find it.
The device worked well all the time. The battery lasted a whole day so I never needed the extra battery pack which was kindly supplied.
Returning the device by post was easy, I just had to ask at Enquiries again to find the post box at the airport.

the best $100 spent....google translate/maps become one's essential GO TO's...and rather than dealing with the vagaries of my provider it was easier to use this service. Delivered to my hotel...taken all around Japan and dropped off in the box across the road from my hotel before flying home.
