I used JapanWireless for my week long trip to Tokyo and it was reliable through almost every step of the journey! The long battery life on the device made the included powerbank almost useless and the provided powerbank was more than enough to charge my phone throughout the journey. It is quick and easy to acquire, use and return. Even provides a charger and portable rechargeable battery.

We picked up 2 hotspots, 1 worked fine with all cables and batteries. The other did not work or charge with the provided cable. Picked up a cable from the store and it worked fine. We found there was a day where the speed and connection struggled and we could not message or use line or maps while in a store at Umeda that was crowded. Over all everything worked well, with only a few issues.

The WiFi worked everywhere and I traveled all along the east coast. I was sharing it with one other person and as long as we were on the same floor of a store we were both still connected
