good product, easy to use, low rental price.

I was hesitant at first to avail the cheapest plan as there are 3 of us during the travel. Turns out it was the best plan for us. We stayed in Japan for 8 days we went from Tokyo-Sagamihara-Yokohama-Osaka and I can say that we never had a problem with the connection, no drop outs but there were times you need to restart the device (which I think it's more of the device's complication). But don't get me wrong the connection is superb and the device is in excellent condition which makes me think I did a good choice in not purchasing the insurance (But it's totally up to you to get the insurance as it can be helpful as well). There were times that We connected in our wireless wifi since some of our hotels have weak connection. Overall I would totally use Japan Wireless again in my next travel. I also recommended it to my relatives. The easy collection and drop off process of the device was so smooth and efficient. I just picked up mine in Narita terminal 2 and showed my passport. I then dropped it off in the 3rd or 4th floor drop box in Kansai airport.

Purchasing the wifi online was quick and easy. The business wifi let us browse social media, use GPS and at times watch YouTube videos. It did everything that we needed. We will be purchasing the same plan when we go back next year.

The wifi box was very convenient. Since it’s so small it’s easy to carry, and the signal was really strong and had range even while hiking in the mountains. The only thing is that you have to remember to charge it every night bc the battery life is not long. Lastly, I think the price is very reasonable. Recommended

Perfect for all day use

WiFi is strong and easy to set up. It is easy to pick it up and return at the airport and staff is helpful. The only issue we had was that we had problems connecting the WiFi again after turning it off at night so ended up leaving turned on the rest of the trip.

Fast internet, tokyo to kyoto to osaka!

It was our favorite rental for the trip. So useful and the battery lasted so long that we didn’t need the power banks. Will rent again!

Rented for 10 days and the pocket wifi lasted for 12-13 hours each day! Didn't lose any wifi for 99% of my trip. Speeds were incredibly fast and didn't slow down 99% of the time.
