Perfectly working in city areas like Tokyo Kyoto Or Osaka. Some rare connection problems in areas like Nikko but it’s understandable. Without it, we could not have done the same trip!

The pocket WiFi was very new and in good order. The battery only lasts for about a day so you’ll need to charge it every night, or risk charging it during the day. Good service by Japan wireless - pocket WiFi was delivered to our hotel the night before our morning start date. Thanks!

We were pleased that we decided to get two portable wi-fi units to share for 6 people, who were not always on the same train or tour. It was perfect, yes you had to make sure they stayed charged, but it came with a back up charger.
