I rented one last year. This one is definitely a better model than last year's. More compact and battery life is really good.

The WiFi was good for most of the time. Sometimes, i’d need to reset it. The portable battery was good, but it got drained out pretty quickly. I had to use my own portable battery to keep the pocket WiFi running for the entire day. Overall, it was helpful for the trip!

Highly recommended made travelling so easy. Unlimited data easy delivery and set up - use it you won’t regret it! Don’t need a spare battery for only a couple of users plenty of charge in the device lasted all day.

In the past, I tried several services. So far, this is the best service and rates are very reasonably low.

It was easy to use and recharge. I used it every day all day long. I only had trouble on the top of a mountain where cell phones didn't work.

Great wifi and easy to pick up and return. I have tried many other services and I will be choosing this when I come back to Japan.

We never had a problem with the connection nor the battery span, rented it out in tokyo and brought it to sapporo and everything was just so smooth, definitely recommended. will rent again! :)

I found it easy to use, and was of great help during my trip, however the battery doesn't last very long and you have to recharge it at least twice a day.

We had this device for 3 weeks and traveled Tokyo, Kanazawa, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, Koyasan, Nara and Matsumoto. We sometimes had 7 devices connected. There was excellent coverage and speed, it also worked on metro and train and we used all the time for Google Maps etc. No complaints, highly recommended!
