Claiming the wifi was so easy, just had to look for the JAL counter and show them your claim/reference number. Wifi was really 4g/5g unlimited, no data cap. There were two of u using the wifi, and we were able to use the data for around 11 to 12 hours daily until the pocket wifi ran out of battery. They did provide a powerbank and a charger for the wifi also.
The return was the best. Just had to find a post box near our hotel. Luckily there was one inside the lawson across the street from our hotel. And if you forget to do so, there’s also one at the airport.
Will definitely avail the service again!

This was our 2nd time using Japan Wireless. The two of us both need wifi when we travel, and we need wifi for our laptops for occasional work. Using the pocket wifi provides wifi to all three devices for one manageable cost. JUST MAKE SURE TO KEEP IT CHARGED!

Second time visiting Japan and second time renting From JapanWireless.
Pickup and return are super simple and straightforward.
Equipment quality was good. Performance and battery were decent. Longer days were a bit more of a challenge esp, as the backup battery pack seemed to not always hold a full charge either, or possibly was the port that wasn’t fully functioning.

Overall highly recommended!

I can only recommend. Travelling in group of 8 we rented 2 devices which was great idea because even when we split in 2 groups we still could keep in touch and communicate together wherever we went. Also everybody could connect to one device very easily.
Device is small and very handy, fits perfectly even in a small purse. Battery lasted perfectly and as backup there was still powerbank provided. Considering the price and the effect I can only recommend. Next time I will use it again. Pick up at the airport and drop off in mailbox again in the airport was also very very convenient.

It's really perfect for travellers, especially with the unlimited data plan and the handy power bank included with the pocket router. It makes travel so worry-free! It would be even better if there were a dedicated online customer service for quicker assistance, instead of emailing the support team and waiting for a reply. While the wait wasn't too long, first-time visitors to Japan might appreciate instant support more. Overall, I genuinely recommend Japan Wireless, and I plan to use it again on every trip to Japan!

It was my first time travelling to Japan, and Japan Wireless kept me and my whole family smoothly connected throughout the 10-day trip without any issues. We all enjoyed it and had a wonderful, hassle-free experience.

The wifi device was very reliable for my trip to Japan. I'll definitely use this again when I return.
