I simply picked up my pocket WiFi at the airport and could the instructions were simple and easy so I could use the WiFi within minutes. It worked really great the whole 3 weeks I was in Japan. The battery live was also very good and it included a Powerbank so I didn't have to worry that I would run out.
At the end I simply packed it all in the provided envelope and placed it on my way to the airport in a post box to send it back.
Can only recommend this service as it went to so smoothly.

We used this pocket wifi for three weeks in Tokyo and Kyoto. It never slowed down. 2 phones were connected to this wifi. There was no problem watching YouTube videos. We rented a cheaper Wi-Fi last year from another company, and the Wi-Fi speed got so slow that it was useless after a few days.

I traveled from Tokyo to Sapporo to Jozankei to Yokohama and had incredible reception the entire time... I was quite surprised that there were barely any blackout zones, aside from a few extremely rural drives through the mountains, which is perfectly acceptable.

Not being techs I needed help setting up, and they were fast and helpful. I loved not having to fiddle with a gizmo and not taking my sim out. No negatives to say, I will be using an e sim a lot going abroad now 👏👏
