So easy! Well worth $5 a day! They delivered to our room and we dropped it off at the front desk on the way to the airport. The WiFi worked great when we Tokyo & Osaka! Definitely recommended!

My pocket wi-fi worked very well during my two weeks in Japan. The coverage was very good both in the cities and the countryside, and it even worked on board our cruise ship when we weren't too far from land. The included spare battery was a real plus. When I had a question I received a rapid response from technical support. My only complaint is the language of the interface of the device is Japanese only. A couple of accidental taps on the screen and you can end up in menus and not know what you are doing. Otherwise, great. Arigato!

I was honestly a little nervous about ordering ahead of time for a pocket WiFi and picking up at a post office rather than just picking one up in person at a kiosk at the airport . But japan wireless gave such clear and easy to understand instructions and rental was a breeze. I had great battery life and didn’t even need to use the extra charger they provided. Service in Tokyo and Hakone was great and I will gladly recommend this company to anyone and use them again for my next trip back to Japan.

Quick, Easy and Efficient

I cannot say enough great things about this product. Throughout my whole trip in Tokyo I had high speed internet for my phone. Never once did I have any issues. In fact, I had faster speeds with this portable router than I do in the United States with my Verizon unlimited plan. Batter life is also great. I could go about 12 hours without needing to recharge the router. Even then, Japan Wireless included a portable charger to use as well.

The convenience level was also a really nice feature. I was able to have the Wi-Fi router delivered directly to my hotel in Tokyo. Japan Wireless also included a return folder for me to put in the mail before heading home. All instructions were clearly marked and I was able to have everything set up in about 2 minutes.

Picking up and dropping off at the airport could not have been easier.

The wifi service was great at all times. Used it in hotels, while on trains and subway and while walking. It was always available and great reception

Outstanding experience overall

If you are thinking you might not need pocket wifi, you absolutely need it! 100% satisfied. Worked great with more than one device. The backup battery came in handy more than once. Detailed email on how to pickup device was helpful. Some information on where to find a mailbox in the airport to drop off the device would be helpful. Hint: in Haneda International terminal, the mailbox is close to the information desk.
