How to Return the Pocket Wifi?

How to Return Japan Wireless Pocket Wifi

With each order, we provide a pre-paid return envelope with the device. The envelope has our office address written on it, so you don’t have to worry about anything. Once you have finished using your device, all you have to do is put everything in the envelope and seal it. Then you can return it by dropping it off at the nearest post office or post box.

You can choose the most convenient location for you, whether it is near your hotel, a train station, or any other location. Even if you want to use your pocket wifi until the very last moment, you can drop off the package at the airport. Post offices and post boxes are conveniently located in most airports throughout Japan, making it easy to return your device before you depart.

This way, you don’t have to spend time looking for a specific location to return the device. So we hope that makes the experience more convenient and less stressful for our customers.

IMPORTANT!! Please note that the package needs to be dropped off before you pass the security check. No post box or other equivalent postal service is available after you go through the security check-point.

If you wish, it should be also possible to ask your hotel staff to drop-off on your behalf. In this case, kindly do remind that hotel staff to drop-of immediately so there will be no return delay charge occurs.

Ready to return?

To return your items, kindly put everything into the return-envelope. Just remember to put everything in the return envelope.Keep it as flat as possible and seal it.

NOTE: Please make sure that you do not accidentally put any personal items in the envelope, such as your passport or wallet.

Can I return my pocket earlier?

Don’t worry, we are offering an early return option for rental devices.

Short-term customers

Even if he hope that you are enjoying your trip to Japan, travelers who need to finish their trip earlier than expected or experience a change in their plans can return their pocket wifi before the rental period is over. Customers only need to contact our customer services and inform them of the early return. Once the device is received, we will confirm the return and refund the difference in rental fees from the original return date to the day the device was returned.

After contact the customer service you simply have to drop off the device at the nearest post office or post box. Once the device is received, we will calculate the difference in rental fees, and the refund will be issued as soon as possible.

Long-term customers

Customers that chose the long-term option can return the device before the end of the rental period, but a 10,000 yen cancellation fee will apply. After we confirm the device’s return, the cancellation fee will be deducted from the customer’s registered credit card.

The process for returning long-term rental Wi-Fi devices is simple. Customers need to inform Japan Wireless of their early return and return the device by post. 

What happens if I delay returning the pocket?

We try to offer the best facilities to our customers. However, it is essential to return the device on the agreed-upon date. Otherwise, additional charges will apply. If you fail to return the device in time, please contact Japan Wireless customer service.

If the rental device is returned late without prior notice we will charge for each additional day, from the original return date to the date the device is returned. So please make sure to return the device on time.

Can I extend my rental period?

If you anticipate that you may be unable to return the device on time, or you decided to extend your trip and want to use it for longer, please contact our customer service. They will be happy to help you to extend the rental term.
