We were in Japan for 26 days and used the Japan Wireless premium Wi-Fi in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Hiroshima. The coverage was great everywhere we went, even in the subway stations underground. We had 2 smartphones connected all day everyday and used over 120GB of data during our travels watching YouTube, maps, downloading maps and stuff for the places we visted. I would absolutely recommend this device for anyone visiting Japan. The pick up at the post office was super fast and we dropped it in the mailbox at the airport to return it before we got on our plane.

I would like to give five stars for your product and your service. The device works without any problems in every surrounding and the delivery and return process was perfectly organized and very easy. Many Thanks again! My experience with Japan Wireless was phenomenal. The hotspot was ready to pick up when planned and worked flawlessly throughout our 2 week trip. The speeds and coverage were generally great - we could barely notice we were in another country. I also really appreciated how this product came with its own backup battery to keep the hotspot charged, given that we typically used ~60% of the battery after 7 hours. Returning the hotspot was also made super easy with the pre-paid/labeled return envelope. The only tips I'd give to future users (my own fault, really) are as follows:

1) When plugging in the hotspot to the external battery to charge while using it, make sure to keep the 2 objects separate. Both can get quite warm, and one time, this caused the hotspot to overheat and actually turn off.

2) Make sure you plan in advance when/where exactly you are going to drop off the return envelope! I learned the hard way at Itami Airport (connecting through Haneda). I found out that the post boxes at both sit BEFORE the security checkpoint. So I stupidly had gone through Itami's security, then had to go back out to mail back the hotspot, then go through security again (since my connection at Haneda would not give me access to a post box either).

This device kept me connected during my stay in Japan. It has great download and upload speeds for streaming and social media, and was great for using Google Maps to find my way around!

The best wifi you can get in Japan. It arrived at our hotel before we checked in,the extra battery was always useful,speed-wise-no complaint s at all,and really easy to return via post box at the airport.I will definitely get Japan Wireless again.

All perfect, picked up at the airport smoothly. User manual with pictures inside, easy to understand and operate.
Internet is fast and stable even in metro, shared between 3 devices for the whole family.
Powerbank was very useful, charged my iphone.

The speed, coverage and equipment were all excellent. There was an extra battery pack but I never needed it since I recharged at night. (Just a note that my wifi unit was different from what is pictured above.)

I had a much better experience with Japan Wireless than I had in Europe last fall with Tepp. Thank you!

Overall very happy. The coverage was good from Tokyo to
Kyoto as well as both cities. A
Few dead spots on the billet train but other than that no issues.

The battery only lasted about 6 hours but the charger that came
With it worked great.

No issues with connecting multiple devices.

Only recommendation is to send a reminder e-mail and exactly which side of the terminal to pick it up in.
