The product was a huge success after using it for a 10 day trip. The connection was reliable and didn’t experience any concerns with it. However, with constant usage, the battery runs out at a fast rate. The battery pack that comes with it was helpful, but the WiFi connector heats up a lot from the constant usage and charging.

I spent 17 days in Japan this past June and the device worked flawlessly. Thanks for helping me stay connected. :)

Worked very well in Japan for us. The extra portable battery was really helpful when we were out all day long. It would be helpful to have directions in English. We had to wait until we got to our hotel to YouTube directions in English and we really needed wifi in the airport where we picked it up. Free WiFi was not available in the airport.

Great experience! It was easy getting the modem sent to my hotel, and easy to drop at any postal box. Got a power bank, which was very useful!

Recommended this by a Japanese friend who thought we might need things like Google maps whilst in Tokyo especially given that we don't speak Japanese! We thought it was brilliant and will consider renting one again on other overseas holiday where we might need wi Fi whilst out and about.
