My husband and I had used pocket wifi on our last trip to Japan but flew into Narita too late to pick one up for this trip. We were slightly panicking about where to find one in Tokyo and were pleasantly surprised by how convenient Japan Wireless was. I literally put in my order when we got to our hotel and was able to pick it up at the Ueno location the next morning!

We love pocket wifi, especially if you are traveling out of Tokyo. Worked great as expected, had good battery life (we would leave for the day and not return to our hotel until evening - usually it did fine, but check it now and again in case it needs a little extra juice), and returning it was super simple. We ordered 2 of these for our last trip, we went from Tokyo to Osaka and never had any issues. The batteries last all day and had great reception. I'm coming back in March and I've ordered from them again.

Japan Wireless is amazing. We had no problems with it while travelling throughout Japan. We got amazing signal and speed in Hiroshima and Miyajima, Kyoto, Osaka, Tokyo and Kawaguchiko on the base of Mt Fuji. This device made our Holiday in Japan so much better, with access to maps, language translators, real time updating on social media and keeping in contact with family and friends back home. The battery life was incredible, we had two phones connected to it all the time and were getting full day usage out of it. We didn't need to use the battery pack it came with once! I can not fault this product and recommend it very highly.

From Tokyo to Hokkaido to Nagoya, I encountered no problems whatsoever.

Everything was seamless from picking it up at the airport to posting it back. The wifi itself worked perfectly and was invaluable to our whole Japanese experience. Only watch out is be careful when charging that the cable is connected properly. Ours kept dropping out overnight so we wouldn't wake up to a full charge sometimes

I used your pocket wifi during my recent stay in Japan and I'm fully satisfied: good coverage and no need to use the second battery provided during the day with two devices connected.
