Would recommend, worked really well. Battery died quickly.

We go to Japan annually and this is the first time we decided to try out Japan Wireless. The router worked flawlessly and we had perfect reception almost everywhere, Even on the ski slopes of Hokkaido.
The battery does drain out after 6 hours understandably so you would need to charge it. Bring along the cables provided and hook it up to a socket from time to time. I would suggest bringing along your own spare battery pack as the one they provided was spoilt 。 It was a fantastic experience even then!!!! Very pleased

No complaints at all—easy ordering on the site and the wifi unit arrived at our hotel the day before our check in date. The unit itself worked perfectly the whole way through our trip, which took us from Tokyo down to Nara and Sakaiminato, then back up via Kanazawa and Takayama. No connection outages at all, and decent battery life per full charge. The return postage envelope made it simple to get the wifi unit back to Japan Wireless. 10/10 would recommend.

Even in places that already offer free wifi, this portable router outperforms. Lightweight and long battery life. I get one every time I go to Japan now.
