Overall strong wifi and good battery life. Occasionally it would mess up and not connect to devices but a quick restart would fix it.

Rented the pocket Wifi kit from Japan Wireless, great coverage and also good signal strength throughout Japan. Was in Iwakuni, Fuji and Tokyo, never had any issue always have network. Thanks.

I use Japan Wireless every time I come to Japan. I can live stream videos anywhere I go, including rural areas. The service is always excellent as well.
