I've used japan-wireless 3 times and recommended them to travelling friends in the past. The experience has always been smooth. The only reason i give 4 stars and not 5 is that the hardware and speed (i was getting 40/40Mbit with the router in 5.8Ghz mode) hasn't changed in all these years. It's time for an update :)

Japan Wireless is my first choice for renting a network device. They make it very convenient for travellers from the moment you order a product till the moment you depart from the airport. Further, the instructions are very clear. You only have to worry about charging the device, but that is on you ; )

The Japan Wireless is fairly priced and very convenient to order and return back. I would definitely recommend to people to who are travelling to Japan

Fast and friendly customer service

Works better than the other options for Internet. Definitely has it's limits, and will occasionally turn off or disconnect.
