Excellent product, did what it needed to do and provide WiFi connection whilst in Japan and very cheaply. Easy to order and return. Highly recommend.

As with expected in japanese internet, this pocket wifi is excellent even when 10 units are simultaneously connected. A power bank is included but was not able to use it since the unit battery lasts until we retire at night. Returning the unit is also a breeze- a return instruction is attached with the envelope and we just dropped it in the nearest mail post (in our case, across the street from our hotel) before we left for the airport.

This was our second time using Japan Wireless, and definitely not our last. We were very happy with the service again. The WiFi worked consistently throughout our trip, the battery life was great, and the device was very reliable. We also appreciated having the option to switch between networks/carriers when needed, which made it even more convenient.

Overall, it was easy to use, dependable, and a very good value. Japan Wireless has become our go-to option whenever we travel in Japan. Highly recommended!

We each purchased esims prior to our arrival in Japan to find out that they did not work once we arrived. I immediately found this portable Wifi from Japan Wireless that was recommended by Cakes with Faces on Youtube. It was very user-friendly and we could all use it, too. It came in a neat, small case with an extra battery and cord that we never needed. The portable Wifi lasted the entire day. Returning it to a mailbox at the airport at the end of our trip was a breeze.

Overall, great experience. The module provided plenty of speed and data for a family of four while traveling everywhere we went. I was able to obtain the module and accessories at the airport terminal quickly upon arrival. It was easy to activate and join my devices. There were a few minor issues- 1. The provided usb power bank accessory wouldn’t charge the access point. The integrated battery would last most of the day, but thankfully I had my own power bank. 2. It was somewhat difficult to locate the Japan postal box at the airport to return the device. (It was located in the same area as the hotel shuttles.)
