The ordering process was very easy and the pick-up at the airport worked perfectly. The device itself completely fulfilled our expectations: The battery lasted easily the full day and we could connect our 4 devices to the wifi. Almost full coverage across Japan (exceptions were more rural areas in Southern Kyushu).

An absolute must & totally transformative for our wonderful trip to Japan.

This was the second time I used Japan Wireless to rent a mobile hotspot. It was so easy to rent this online. I ordered the device delivered to my first hotel and was able to return it at my last hotel. The kit came with the WiFi device, charging cord and power bank. Both times that I have rented were so smooth and easy and well worth it. I plan to use this service on my next trip. I highly recommend Japan Wireless.

Picked up directly at the airport and activated. Three weeks unlimited wifi for 4 people at any time for just €75. Easy to activate, very good connection and easily returned at the airport via the enclosed envelope. You really need wifi in Japan so this is ideal!

During our 3 week Japan roundtrip, we always had a reliable and fast internet connection. We went from Tokyo to Fukuoka and back. And we never had bandwidth issues although having heavy usage scenarios (gaming/ streaming / maps / ai translators and blogging) My son was even playing online games, so ping was also okay most of the time. We carried 4 devices with us 3 phones and 1 iPad so the pocket wifi was the perfect choice compared to individual sim cards. With the added powerbank the device was running all day and we still had 60%battery left in end of day. For us it was the perfect travel companion.

Very impressed with long battery life, smooth delivery at hotel, return at kix airport and solid coverage in a lightweight compact package. Only had a small hiccup on the rail underground but it was only once. Very happy with the service and it was highest capacity tourist season.

Really enjoyed having the device. It allowed me to stay connected while away from home. Well worth the cost and effort to receive it.
