A nice company with good service

Good battery and very fast internet

Having internet during your holiday is often frowned upon! "I'm going offline" is a phrase I hear a lot, and I respect that. Even agree with it! But when we were three dudes, on a two week roadtrip, our wifes, kids and friends were so thrilled to be able to follow us, sharing the moments and to short quick talks we had before bed or waking up. And that's only the social element.

Why we definitely needed this wifi tool was because we drove around and the navigation (if you have any) was speaking English as promised, but all settings, options etc were in Hiragana or Kanji... And more often than not (when we got the thing to plot a route) our navigation was better than the navigation of the car. And what about when you are outside of the car?

Oh yeah! The delivery and drop off is also super! They Delivered it to our hotel, so when we checked in, we had the package (we could Track & Trace it a day before). After our trip we dropped it off at the Airport postbox. How cool is that?

We could walk around wherever, whenever we pleased because we always had a way back. And Japan is supersafe to just go wandering around, so knowing where you are going helps. And sometimes we made it a challenge to go somewhere (diner eg.) without navigation, which was fun too (but not every day).

Reception was super, even on FujiSan we had a great connection. During the two weeks we had one or two moments where reception was bad, but that wasn't due to the device, all phones had this problem. As for the battery life, that depends on the usage. A lot of days we used it with three people and we made it through the day. Other days, we would connect the supplied powerbar at 30% to be sure it last throughout the day.

So in short, you don't want to fiddle with GPS cards (which change your identity in whatsapp etc) and pay more money for! This product is easy, safe, fast and a definite need if you want to navigate. Most of the Navigation Apps (like Google Maps, Apple Maps) will not allow for Japan maps te be downloaded offline! And if you're in Japan, you don't want to lose time walking the wrong way... but that's just my opinion. And even if you're anti-Internet, Social or whatnot... for this amount it is a nice and easy lifeline to use when needed.
