Japan is super organized and everything is available onine, but if you don't have wifi (or a SIM card), it's all totally useless. So the pocket wireless is the perfect answer for more than one person. We went off the beaten track and were still connected. Japan wireless, too, is super organized, you find it in your hotel room, you drop it in a mailbox before you leave. Absolutely excellent.

Very happy with product and service. For the 2 weeks I was in Japan I used this company and had no problem. Was able to stay in touch with those I travelled with and though I needed to stay in touch with in the USA.

We had ours shipped to the first hotel of our trip to Japan. It arrived there exactly on time. Service was fast, always had a connection, and it wasn't that expensive. Battery lasts all day with a nice charge in the evening. Must be within 5-10 feet of device for best connection. Dropped off at airport before security checkpoint and cried a little tear because I had to go back to my crappy Verizon service that I'm overpaying for.

Easy to pick up and use. Never had any issues and the WiFi worked great. Would rent again if we come back to Japan.

This gadget offered a very reliable connection across Japan, we experienced no issues at all. Picking up at the airport post office and setting up was very easy. There is a powerbank included in the box, so that you never have to worry about running out of juice. Price was very competitive. Five stars!

The SIM worked fine always, my friend used the pocket wifi but the battery charge ends after 10/11 hours. So I find the SIM more comfortable.

The stars are not 5 only because they sent me the wrong SIM, 8 days instead of 15, but Japan Wireless staff fixed the problem sending me another in a day and a half.
