The internet service was great, never slow or disconnect. However, the portable router was heavy and need to be charged at least two times if you are going to use it all the day long.

I used this wifi box for the duration of my time in Japan, I went from Tokyo to Nagoya to Kyoto and it always had reception and a good speed of navigation. It was especially great to be able to access google maps anywhere I was and keep in touch with the people I was meeting.
The battery tended to run out at the end of the day, so it is important to have a portable battery at hand.
