I used this with my 2 brothers while in Japan and we had no issues. The range is decent, but make sure your group is still relatively close to the device. Speeds were good and the device stayed charged the whole day, the portable charger was very convenient as well. Will definitely get this option again if I go back to Japan!

easy pick up, easy use, easy return.

Ordered this online from Australia before departure for arrival at Osaka Kansai Airport. Package with return prepaid envelope was waiting for be at the JAL ABC counter on 1st floor nearby the North Arrival Gate.

Service was mostly 5G between Osaka and Tokyo, with it dropping occasionally to 4G/LTE in some of the more remote countryside, such as at Nikko, North of Tokyo.

Regardless, very impressed with the service end to end.

The pickup process was fast and the instructions to return the wifi were very clear. It was nice to have wifi on vacation!

The gadget was delivered to me promptly & returning it was very simple & hassle free.
It was very helpful on my first trip to Japan.

The Japan Wireless Wifi device was awesome! Gave my phone internet connections wherever I went. Strong 4G signal. Will rent again!

I'm so glad I ordered this product for my stay in Japan. Very reliable and it worked very well. Lasted all day and came with a powercell incase it was running low. I would definitely get this again over a sim card. Very easy to return and extend if you need more days.

Worked well, no problems. Each pocket wifi served 2 devices.

It was great, we had internet everywhere while traveling. Spent our days in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Nara and we had connection everywhere.
It wasn't 5/5 since we did lose it in Tokyo a couple of times but not too often. Still would highly recommend.
