I had good experience travelling with the pocket wifi from Japan wireless. The range of device was good and conncetion was fast. I was surprised that the device worked well even on fast moving trains and even subways.

A must for every Japan trip.

I have already booked a pocket wifi under Japan Wireless for two trips and I have enjoyed the convenient rental process as well as the fast wifi network for the entire trip. I would book another rental for my upcoming trip this November!

Service was great and the extra portable battery pack that was included was very useful! Providing the self addressed package envelope also helped and made returning the unit and its accessories so easy and convenient. We were able to use the pocket wifi up to the airport then just drop it in the mailbox inside the airport. Thank you!

Ordered before arrival in Tokyo.
Easy to obtain in the airport upon arrival, which was helpful for getting to our accommodations.
Packaging was supplied for return, so that was very convenient.
Our extra battery pack didn't seem to work. I'm not sure if that was operator error. We had a personal charger so it was not a problem for us.

Rented one of these units for a 10-day trip in Japan. Was mostly in the tokyo area and in and around Saitama. It worked great throughout.. Though I think that the included usb-c-to-a cable was not working, I had a bunch of other cables with me so it wasn't an issue.. Plus you can get cables at daiso or other 100-yen shop if needed.

After experiencing some issues with our first Pocket Wi-Fi, we were sent a replacement free of charge very quickly. We sent a few emails and had quick, polite responses every time. Would use again!
