I ordered a pocket wifi from Japan Wireless based on other reviews I've seen and the process couldn't have been better. I was able to place my order in my home country and set a pickup date / time from my arrival airport (Haneda). After pickup, I only needed to turn on the device and connect our devices to it. The device worked flawlessly during my 2 week trip throughout Japan. We always had a strong signal and never had to use the backup battery even though it's great knowing it's available. Best of all, there were no data caps, which is amazing and gave me a peace of mind. I would definitely use Japan Wireless again the next time I'm in Japan.

I usually use Ninja Portable WiFi when I come to Japan, but this time, I tried Japan Wireless. Their service is actually better and very convenient. I extended my stay in Japan from 1 week to a month and I didn’t have any issues extending my service with them. I recommend using them!

The pick up and postal return worked well. The device itself is small enough to leave in a backpack, and worked well for a group of 6 who all connected to it. The device lasted a full day, but you had a small power bank included anyway there as peace of mind. Wifi signal was generally good and fast and there were no worries about data caps or anything.

The portable wifi was great not having to worry about cell reception and finding wifi provided shops. My only problem was self inflicted because I forgot to charge it, so my third day I was wifi-less until I got it charged back up. But all in all I would recommend to friends and family! I thanked my coworker who suggested Japan Wireless. I will definitely order again for my next trip!
