The Japan wireless premium pocket wifi gives amazing service. I use it as a home router as my apartment has very poor fiber connection, and its very impressive for a portable router. I'm able to stream and play multiplayer games with very little to no lag. Its also been convenient to take out with me on occasion, such as to work. My only complaint is the download speed is quite poor, often taking a while to download or upload large films, and installing games can even take whole days. Besides this, I would definitely use the service again as its been very reliable since day 1, and very easy to set up and use!

Very easy to use, it worked good, great battery, we didn't need to use the portable extra battery that they provide. I'll repeat!

The experience from day dot is seamless - picking it up from the airport is a breeze, the WiFi is easy to set up once you have it, and returning it is as simple as popping it in the postbox at the airport on your way out. The only WiFi issues was when I was in the middle of nowhere in the mountains (which I expect is pretty normal), and many times this was fixed by a simple restart of the device. It comes with a portable charger, which I barely needed, but was a lifesaver when my phone was low on battery. The only critique I have for Japan Wireless is the price - it is a bit on the pricey side compared to other options on the market. But the product and experience itself is more or less seamless.

The mobil wifi worked really well. Everywhere also in small provinces it performed really good, no limitations on battery time, data usage or radio coverage.
The only negative point is the size of the device, it does not fit in a normal trouser pocket.

Easy pick up at the airport and a breeze to set up with each device. The battery life on the device was great and lasted us all day, even without using the extra battery provided. The return was also super easy as it came with an envelope to drop off at the airport. Price is great for those with multiple devices needing wifi.

We were connected all throughout our stay. Can connect up to 4 devices. Sometimes the wifi will automatically shut down but you just have to restart then good to go again. All in all, the best wifi!

Internet speed is of good quality even with multiple devices (e.g., laptop, tablet, phone) connected. Price is affordable and you can purchase and do reservations online. They also have option to deliver it at your reserved hotel in Japan for a reasonable additional cost.
