Well worth the rental cost for our trip to Japan! Used it in Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto & Tokyo without an issue. One full charge was enough for a day/night out. Also used on multiple Shinkansen trips & in metro without a break in service. Being able to have multiple phones, tablets connected at once was a great benefit over data usage on a mobile phone. Being able to return it using the postal service office at Narita departures was very convenient! I'll definitely use the premium WiFi on my next trip to Japan!

i ordered this mailed to me at Narita airport. that way i had a solid internet connection for sorting out the train routes, email, text, and calling (voice over wifi is free on tmobile). definitely worth it and i drop it off at the airport when i leave.

Pick up at the Fukuoka airport was fast. Coverage was very good wherever we went and it stayed that way until our last day. You can easily drop off the unit at the post box outside the airport. Very convenient.
