very convenient when travelling

This pocketwifi was very useful during our trip to Osaka especially since you can order it ahead of time and pick up at the airport (although note the closing time of your pickup zone) or have it shipped to your hotel location. I was kinda surprised it was 4G when I saw the other businesses with pocketwifi in the airport had 5G. I did like that it was guaranteed to be there for me at the airport and they provide a mailing envelope for when you're done. I used it mainly for GPS and Internet surfing but also used it a couple of times streaming with no issue. The pocketwifi struggled at Mt Wakakusa and whenever there were too many people/tourists around but it wasn't too bad to wander a bit to get a stable signal. Also the wifi did tend to stop connecting once the battery charge was around 10-20% but they do provide a small portable battery and charger with the rental. Overall I do like the value for what I paid and wouldn't hesitate to use again. Hopefully by then it's 5G.

Worked well throughout our trip. Reliable and fast

As a first traveler to Japan, and using Japan Wireless' pocket Wi-fi retrieval at Haneda the process was efficient and seamless. The company provided clear instructions on setup and directions to find the Kiosk. I would provide a very visible landmakr to your map for Kiosk. The 7-11 was behind the Kiosk and that is how airlines' rep. told me how to find it. Thank you.

Easy to set up. Good connection

The WiFi was always on and worked when I needed it. 10gigs was perfect amount for me to stream and browse internet and google map my way through Japans. Only way to connect in my opinion
