We always rent the Internet with Japan Wireless. The wireless speed is great even with 10 people connected and the batery last all day.
Furthermore, they have a great costumer service. We had some questions and they always answered us as soon as possible.

We ordered the night before our flight and we picked up the device at Narita airport post office. Wifi speed was superb. I’ll order again on my first visit.

Hired this and was invaluable on our travels. Well worth having and came with a power pack and charger but charge lasted all day anyway and the speed was good too - much bettered than we get on our rural broadband in the uk

The portable router worked perfectly for our stay in Kyoto. The hotel & conference center had free wi-fi, but this was great to have while exploring other areas of the city. Other than spending a bit of extra time charging the unit, we highly recommend having this and would gladly rent again.
