It worked well from Tokyo, Kyoto to Osaka. Recommended

Second time for me with Japan Wireless. It's perfect.
I mostly use it to access Google Maps, so I can go wherever I want without thinking about directions. I use it to call my family on whatsapp and surf the internet as well. For me, this is the best way to feel free, anywhere, anytime ! thanks a lot :)

Fue mejor que una eSIM, sin instalar nada en los teléfonos y a un mejor costo para toda la familia, solo hay que compartir la clave y listo!!! Ampliamente recomendado.

The speed was very good for a 4g service and the service coverage was quite good in Kobe, Osaka, Nara and Tokyo. Cheaper than multiple esim for individual phones. It last quite long on one charge from about 9am to 2-3pm on constantly. Topping up charge with external powerbank will get through whole day easily.

I recently used Japan Wireless Wifi for an 11-day trip, and unfortunately, my experience was less satisfactory compared to my previous rental in January.

This time, the unit I received was not fully charged upon pickup; it was only at 50% battery. More critically, the unit itself seemed less reliable and did not last the entire day on a single charge, unlike the unit I had in January, which consistently provided all-day power. This made it challenging to stay connected throughout my daily activities.

I hope this feedback helps improve the service for future users.

Excellent service and device.

Very easy process. Wi fi device was at our hotel when we arrived. Allowed us to use all our devices 2 iPhones, an iPad with the one wifi cost, saving money by not having to pay our local costs for each of our devices.

I highly recommend anyone visiting Japan to get this portable wifi. I’d say 90% coverage and it has decent speed. We were using this as a group of three and it was very reliable. The only downside/bottleneck would be power. It does include a power bank for charge but I’d say bring a bigger capacity power bank if you have. Highly recommend this option especially if you are sim-locked or carrier locked.

Good plan works well in most area.
