We didn't need to buy one Sim card each one, because we could easily share our pocker wifi. Easy to get, since you can order it in advance and receive it directly to the designated address, and easy to send it back. Very smart service, would use it again for sure.

The pocket wifi works great, very long lasting battery, intuitive using, small size. Internet speed is not always very high, but I suspect it depends by the Japan 4G network itself. Flat data option is very convenient.

We were a group of 4, so we decided to get a pocket wifi. Amongst the competitors, JW was for our usage the best (thanks to the unlimited data and the extra power bank, which was necessary). We reserved the 4G wireless system online. Information for pickup was sent a few days before arriving in Japan. Pickup was very easy at the counter in Haneda airport. Internet access through the device was consistent with no dropouts and the battery life was sufficient for a whole day out. Never had to use the added power bank. Only minor problem was that the charger sent would take forever to charge, hence we had to always leave charging overnight.

The product and service was excellent. The pocket wifi was shipped to my hotel and the staff called the hotel to make sure it was there. I had service everywhere I went and there were no issues.
