Definitely a must when going to Japan. It worked everywhere even in the metros. It was easy to use and set up.

I have a plan with Aldi in Australia so unable to use that in Japan, which is why I went for pocket wifi option for the second time. Used it to connect to internet and make calls to my travelling companion over the net. Ordered it from Australia and it was waiting in hotel in Tokyo when we checked in. Posted it from airport on way out. Really could not be simpler.

I travelled to the japanese Alps and I never had connection issues. The battery lasts roughly a day before it needs to be charged fully. The connection speeds seemed very reasonable.

Overall great product, have no complaints. Customer service is good. Will reorder on my next trip.

Everything was super easy, the battery was enough everyday and also has one battery extra. The pick and collect super fast in the airport even we collec in one airport and we left on another.

Reasonable price with widespread coverage, including back up power bank.
