Excellent service as usual. I have used this service several times and I'm absolutely happy.

Dealing with Japan wireless couldn’t have been easier. We had arranged for it to be delivered to our hotel and was waiting for us at check-in & we dropped it off at airport in prepaid satchel on our way home. We had WiFi everywhere we went - no glitches!

My wife used this throughout our 3 week trip Japan. I used an eSIM. She had much better coverage with your device than I did.

Works as promised...

I can highly recommend this service, which we required at short notice having arrived in Japan and discovering the wifi in our apartment was not as promised. I ordered online on a sunday and was able to pick the unit up within the our at Narita airport. The unit was very easy to setup and the addition of the portable power pack meant we could keep wifi services for the kids all the time whilst we travelled around. I also appreciated the simple return system. The company provides a pre-paid envelope and you put all of the kit into it and drop it into a post box.

We traveled from on end of Japan to the other and end up in some very remote locations. My pocket WiFi never lost touch. It was easy to carry and even easier to obtain and return (via the hotel desk). It was the perfect companion on this trip and I highly recommend others use it as well.

We rented before in 2017, and we liked it a lot, so we rented again in May 2025. We also plan to rent it again this October. We will be in Japan from October 1st October 7. Highly recommended in place of SIM card. We can connect multiple devices to the Wifi pocket.

We chose Japan wireless because of the price - we received unlimited data for 4 for under $5 use a day. Only once did we have a coverage issue (we had to extend service several times when our flight was delayed and on the 3rd or 4th extension, something wasn't inputted to keep the service on), and an email promptly resolved it. I would absolutely use this service again.

The wifi unit worked very well and we always had connectivity no matter where we were. However, the extra battery pack did not function as expected, and did not even have enough power to charge the wifi unit more than 50%. The only other issue we had was the pickup location at the airport was very difficult to find as the directions were not clear.

Faultless service from Japan Wireless. The device was delivered to our hotel and worked really well at all locations we travelled to in Japan. Battery life was good, easily lasting all day. The return instructions for the airport made it so convenient and simple.
