I found the online platform for ordering a pocket WiFi logical and easy to navigate with numerous drop down menus. The confirmation of my order was fast.
This will be the 5th time I have rented WiFi from Japan Wireless. Their service and communication cannot be faulted.

We always had great connectivity and it was great for the train, hotel, and just bring out and about. The battery usually lasted all day without issue. My only complaint is that I wish we had gotten a confirmation email that they had received the device back.

Good reception everywhere we went. The wireless boxes were waiting for us when we arrived at the airport. Good battery life on them too.

The pocket wifi was great. I could not have travelled around Japan for a month without it. It was the first time and we were thrilled with the coverage. The package was waiting for us the day we arrived at our hotel. We found it very easy to set up and the spare battery was really good the high speed was fantastic and we were on the light option. We charged the spare battery first at night then put it in our bag for the next day, then charged the unit as it doesn't take long to recharge. During the day I would connect the spare battery to the unit when it got down to about 30% just in case we forgot and it would run out. Having the envelope to post back was fantastic and we posted at the Airport just before going through security. I would highly recommend Japan Wireless and have mentioned it to all my friends travelling to Japan. Thank you

We had this for 3 weeks and it worked well even in the mountain side (remote area). I liked that they provided a backup battery as we were out all day and the we used it multiple times. There was one or two times that the phone couldn't find the wifi but I took it out of my bag and it found it right away. But this was very infrequent.

The Japanese love their baths, but as a tourist, you will need wifi more than anything - you need Google maps, Google translate and hyperdia (train schedule app) all the time. The Japan wireless router was flawless during my 3 weeks in Japan - easy pickup, dropoff, high speed unlimited wireless. Battery life was good, and they provide a backup charger just in case. Highly recommended for your trip to Japan!

We had it for a 12 day trip and never had issues. Would use again.
