A few times we had to reset the device to get the data to work. We have used Japan Wireless in the past and it was great! This particular device was just a bit intermittent.

A bit more expensive than other carriers but it's very convenient, easy to rent, to pick-up and to deliver. Also includes a power bank so it's good

Japan Wireless Business Wifi made it possible to travel on trains, busses, Google maps, etc. with ease as I travelled on my own around Tokyo. I took the bullet train to Kanazawa, back to Tokyo then Fukuoka and was so happy to have wifi at my fingertips. I was impressed with the battery lifespan. Staff at Haneda Airport were very helpful when I picked up the device, and the Post Office was easy to find at Narita Airport prior to my departure home. Thank you for your excellent service!

when i first travelled in japan, i managed to get around without an internet connection. once i tried the pocket wifi, i dont think i can do without. makes getting around and connecting with friends very conveniently. not sure what the experience with the premium pocket wifi is like but the business option works amazing. travelled from tokyo to fukuoka and in between. never had to worry about losing connectivity. connection is fast and you dont have to worry about data limits.
